Qualifications
Since being founded in 2002 in Mukilteo, WA, DTA Technologies Inc has been providing engineering consulting services for complex and flight critical tasks that affect all aspects of an aircraft's safe operation.
Dr. Jason Dai is a well known FAA Consultant DER, specializing in Structures with Damage Tolerance Analysis Delegation and Part 26 delegations for STC structural modifications, especially for aging aircraft safety. He has been involved in all areas of structural analysis, including detailed stress analysis, composite structures analysis and certification, and fatigue & damage tolerance analysis and finite element analysis for interior structures and for primary structures.
In recent years, Dr. Dai has been involved in design and certification of several freighter conversion programs such as DC-8 Aircraft, 727, 737 and 757-200 conversions, APB winglet STCs, and Boeing Fleet AOG support on structural repair assessment . Dr. Dai is also involved in many interior payload structural modifications for various commercial aircraft. On certification, Dr. Dai was involved in certification plan development, coordination with FAA engineers, finding compliance to FARs and final engineering data approval.
